My always inconvenient neck sprain has decided to pay me a visit again this week. It’s only been two months since its last charming visit. So, Brant Flint has finally convinced me to get it checked out.

I sense many weeks of PT in my future, but it’s time. I’m done being down for the count when I’ve got music to play and things to do!

Life’s been weighing a bit heavy lately. Mother’s Day often does that to me. Yesterday was no exception.

It’s tough to give ourselves grace to process heavy things - especially when they are difficult to name. Sitting with some low emotional energy today and working through it as best I can. Somehow sharing this with friends far and wide makes the load feel a little lighter. I know I’m not the only one.

Reminding myself and anyone seeing this who struggles with certain holidays for deeply personal reasons: you are not alone and this too shall pass. ❤️

So…here it is: I lost my job on 4/3. I won’t get into the details, but let’s just say that it was unexpected, and it’s the first time something like this has ever happened to me.

Fortunately, the phone has been ringing off-the-hook for Flint Auto Detailing LLC (woot!) and I have some funds saved to see us through for a bit…

That all being said - when one door closes, another one opens. The universe is constantly removing obstacles - and perhaps all we need do is realize and seize the opportunity. And we must do it without hesitation.

Oddly, this all feels like it is all unfolding just as it is meant to. Friends, if you recognize the image below, please drop me a motivating Omm!! And get ready…😉

Now that most close family and friends are aware (and sorry if we missed you): The Captain had a terrible accident on Christmas Day and ended up on life support at Dartmouth. His body couldn’t handle the stress, and the prognosis was incredibly dim. Per his express wishes, we said goodbye on Tuesday, December 30th. He passed on surrounded by his loving family, including his granddaughter, and I am confident that the first to greet him will be his beloved son, Teddy, who he tragically lost at only six years old.

There will be a service at St. Denis Catholic Church in Hanover, NH. Please feel free to get in touch for details if you would like to pay your respects.
